According to a study done by Sony Liv - a digital entertainment platform - the sport was found to be the most watched sport across the globe in terms of both internet and TV viewership. In the “How Indian Fans Watch Cricket” survey, it was found that almost all respondents (95%) watch the sport on TV, while 95% also use the internet to catch up on their favorite sports.
